CatarinaDK thank you! It works, but the shortcut is making me chose from a list. Is there a way to make it append to the note automatically? I had it automated to run at sunrise when it was working.

And the headings within the note are 2025 Saturday, 2026 Sunday, etc.

PinkyBoo this shortcut runs other shortcuts and also uses an app that I don’t have installed. I cant help you with that I’m afraid.

There are iCloud-links to shortcuts scattered around this forum to achieve something like what you seem to want. You should use one of them and edit to your liking, that’s my best advice.

As @trxonspeed pointed out the shortcut uses Toolbox - and I also don’t users that but I think I managed to edit your shortcut. But let me know if it’s still is making trouble😊

One question - why does the shortcut makes both a list in notes and Journal?

I for my self have left the journal part in notes due to to many problems and also the asterisk. I still uses the Forever✱Notes system for my notes but not the journal part.

I manage to set up my Start My Day shortcut to Journal (and other shortcuts I use during the day) And its so much easier to look back on my days and especially when photos and exercises are added😀 . I just love the looks and feel when looking back.
