A shortcut for backlinks!

I have created a Shortcut to view a note’s backlinks and navigate to one of them.

Shortcuts:

Get’s Note Name Shortcut

Show Note Backlink

Steps:

Open a note
Click on share button
Choose “send copy”
Choose “Show Note Backlinks”

A list will appear with found backlinks.

Limitations:

It shows only the notes which have the same note’s title (If the link is renamed it will not show)

This is great! However when I run it I get the following error message: The action "Find Notes" was interrupted because it didn't finish executing in time.

PierreG Backlinks are used to connect notes by showing where a note is referenced. This helps you easily navigate between related notes and see the context of your ideas instead of linking between them manually.

Unfortunately, this does not work for me. I tested it on many notes + created 2 simple ones with links to each other and each time it shows either that the note has no backlinks or the application screen simply darkens and the application does not respond. I tested all versions of shortcuts that were indicated here.

DmytroDubinin I got the same on the Mac, but it seems to work fine on iOS/iPadOS.

DmytroDubinin Does the first line of the note is an image or attachment?

please test it with a note with a text title (the first line of the note is text)

Also, I have to mention that the same note’s title should the exact same title in the other note(s)
