linking to Monthly notes for journal are not working

Hello and thank you for creating a way to manage notes more effectively. I am new to using Apple Notes and new to the Forever Notes system. I decided to go all in on native Apple apps to save money and stop myself from jumping around various apps.

I created a note for each month of the year with a heavy asterisk in front for the journal but not all of the months are linkable. Four of them will not show up when I try to link into my Home note. I can't figure it out. My operating systems on iPhone and mac are up to date.

Is the problem a link from the March note, for example, to the ✱ Home note? Or is it a link from the ✱ Home note to the March note?

If it's the former I would delete the Home link and reenter it.

If it's the latter, it could be the March note hasn't been created or has been deleted. Can you find the March note by searching?

Are you typing >>✱ March and it’s not appearing? Make sure to type out the full name of the note. The links list will only show the first 5 matches, so sometimes you have to spell out the full title. Also make sure you only have 1 space between the ✱ and the title. If you have 2 spaces, the search will ignore it.

One other issue I had was trying to link to days starting with 1 or 2 because in some months, searching for 1 May resulted in the links list showing me 11 May, 12 May, 13, May, 14 May 15 May. So I started all single digits days with a 0. So I can search for 01 May and get the right result each time.
