Apple allows you to run your own custom shortcuts from the Share Sheet which is available from most apps. Not only that, you can pin a shortcut above the standard items Apple supplies for an app. I have one called, wait for it, Forever ✱ Notes. It displays a menu of shortcuts, most of which are date and text functions I use for maintaining my Diary and Expenses records. The shortcuts use the clipboard so I can paste formatted text into apps that allow pasting.
I've added to my menu a few shortcuts specific to Forever ✱ Notes: Separator (a long series of underscores I use for dividers as suggested by Matthias), Show Notes Folder, Open ✱ Home, Open ✱ Diary, Open ✱ Expenses. These menu items use Notes actions that Apple supplies in the Shortcuts app. Other actions allow you to create and delete notes, folders, and tags. What Shortcuts lacks is a way to show the topmost Notes screen, the one with the list of folders, smart folders, and tags.
