Yes, and it works. But to do that, I have to rename all my single-digit daily notes, because Formatted Date is always two digits (01, 02, 03, etc.)

This has to be better. I'll keep testing on the first of next month.

cryptosteve You can edit how the formatted date is.
I have it in a danish way = d. MMMM (10. april)
others uses the orgial way = dd MMMM
And if you use 1 april, 2 april, …. 10 April it would be = d MMMM

Thank you all for your contributions which helped me a lot to solve these problems for me.

My daily notes have the format „dd. mmmm“ e.g. „11. April“

The following shortcut works for me and is much simpler than before. The correct date format string is important though!

trxonspeed You can omit step 1 but have to output today‘s date in the needed string i.e. dd MMMM and instead of inserting a variable in opening a note you can simply open a note with the formatted today‘s date.

herrselent Whoever needs this..... in order to jump to tomorrow, you can also easily create a Shortcut that adds one day to today's date, then format it to dd MMMM and open it. Same should apply to add a Shortcut for jumping into yesterday's note.

Because of this amazing group of people in this forum who are much smarter than me when it comes to writing shortcuts, I fixed my open today’s note and open home note shortcuts, as well as others that open other dashboards similar to my ✱ Home note. Thank you so much!

However, I still can’t fix my Open Current Week shortcut. I asked Grok, be it wasn’t much help. Has anyone successfully fixed this one? Apple shortcuts always make me feel dumb. 🫣

imabookwyrm This works if your week Note is called ✱ Week 01 etc. You’ll have to edit the text, ”Vecka” is week in swedish. If your week notes have one number for 1-9, I think you could format the date as ”w.”

When it runs the first time after the app has been killed, it brings up a list of notes. I tap out of that and then run it again, and it goes to the current week. I don’t know why I had so much trouble getting the Open Note action to connect to the previous action in all my other attempts.

If by 'at the start' you mean the links at the top of this particular forum, I downloaded that but it will not work. IS there a spot where the actions are listed?

VBE if you press the three dots you can see the actions inside the shortcut.

The shortcut at the top works, but you need to make sure that it points to the right note. If your home note is called ”✱ HOME” (case sensitive) it should work right away. If not you need to press where it says ✱ HOME inside the shortcut and select your home note.
