RubyTopaz ✱ Home is case sensitive. In the above shortcut it's called "✱ HOME", while mine is called "✱ Home". I changed the shortcut to lowercase and it works. Thanks for both. 🫠

Hi,
I can confirm that, with the latest updates (iOS and macOS), the shortcut for searching by date no longer works.

My initial approach was to gradually add the ‘Output’ action after each step in the shortcut to check where the error occurs.
But I haven’t found the error yet.
The date is converted correctly; the error occurs somewhere in the command where the note is being searched for.

Hi,

I don’t have a Shortcut for searching notes by date, så I unfortunately can’t help you.

My search Shortcut search another way.

And the two shortcuts I attached are working, unless your formatting of the date is different.

Even if it is named ✱ Home you need to manually select your ✱ Home note again inside the shortcut. That should solve the problem. Mine is working fine right now. Thanks for sharing @CatarinaDK

You need to edith the formatting of the date -all your notes starts with the year as far as I could tell?

I’ve found the problem. I don’t know what’s changed since the iOS update; it was working fine before.
I’ve modified my ‘Open Today’ and ‘Daily Preparation’ shortcuts as follows, and now it works (for me).

Apple made som changes to the way of finding notes - it’s a bit easier now but frustrating not to know this change up front so all of this could have been avoided 🙄

I just can’t understand how a company can act like that. Shortcuts.app is part of Apple, after all.
How can I simply change features there without giving any notice of it?
That would be the least they could do.

I was questioning my sanity trying to find the issue with the former "Open Today's Note" shortcut.

I agree with @thomas_h that it feels like Apple pulled the rug out from under us.

everything is working now, except for the Open Current Week shortcut. I’m not sure how to modify it so that it pulls up the current Week instead of anything with that number.

trxonspeed When I try to run the "open this month's note" shortcut it's also not working. Have tried reconstructing it like the above but no dice. Shortcuts seems riddled with bugs at the minute

trxonspeed You can omit step 1 but have to output today‘s date in the needed string i.e. dd MMMM and instead of inserting a variable in opening a note you can simply open a note with the formatted today‘s date.
