How to ensure appended text is formatted properly?

I have a shortcut to append the next week's note in advance. Every Sunday night it unpins the last week's note, pins this week's note, and appends the week note with useful headings to categorise my schedule and encourage constructive reflections. The shortcut has a text box in it, which is converted into Rich Text, then appended to the note. Currently though, it is ignoring the hashtags to make the text bigger.

@CatarinaDK's wonderful 'start my day' shortcut ensures the daily note is populated with lovely formatted headings. I have tried to create a similar shortcut but haven't managed to match the skill. Does Catarina or anyone else have any advice?

I don’t know exactly how your shortcut is set up, but you could try using simple HTML tags instead of ###, since the “Make Rich Text” action doesn’t always interpret Markdown. That should render correctly when converted to Rich Text.
