From time to time I see F✱N users mention that they find Hubs and structuring a bit difficult – and honestly, I felt the same in the beginning.

The picture shows my own Start – in the F✱N system that would be Home, same but different 😉
– I’ve divided it into sections like Private, Lifestyle and Web-admin – quick overview, entry point, etc.
– Links with a ✱ in front lead to notes with sub menu's – small mini-start pages. For example, in my Food Universe I have categories like baking, soups, desserts, etc.
– Links without ✱ are more free-flowing notes, that I just keep as lists. For example, my Gift List (I have been tracking all gifts I give for birthdays and Christmas since 2019), so jeg know who got what) and Books / Movies / Concerts (also have been tracking all books I have read, listens to since 2019). I’ve built as one long list with collapsible year sections, because that makes more sense for me and makes it easier to find what I need.
In addition, I use a single shortcut, which contains my weather, today’s word, calendar appointments, tasks from Reminders and my meal planner from Reminders. It automatically creates my daily note every morning, and from there I can manage the rest and add more as the day goes on.
I’m really happy with the F✱N system – for the first time I know exactly where all my notes are, and that gives me a peace of mind and the overview I’ve been missing.
