I can’t get the >> action to work. It just stays as >>. What might I be doing wrong?

The link also requires a "nothing" directly before the ">>".

If other characters, such as a colon, full stop, etc. directly precede it, it does not work. Perhaps this is the case. In case of doubt, the famous restart of the app and the iPhone are always worth a try.

You have to start writing something - like you have a note called Fun then start >>Fun and it works

Also depends which OS version you have, >> doesn’t work in older version.

Correct. The function to link notes to each other was introduced with iOS17 and MacOS14 in 2023. The version of the respective Operating System, in case you wonder where to obtain these @Cokie, can be found under Settings > General > About.
