Sometimes I need to scan a receipt or bill into a specific journal note from an earlier date. Instead of manually searching for the right day and scanning the receipts in, I created a small and simple Shortcut that does the following:
It opens the camera → you take a photo and confirm you want to use it → then it asks which date the image should be added to → after your selection, the photo is automatically inserted on that date, and you’re ready for the next receipt or bill.
If any of you are interested in getting the Shortcut, just let me know – I’ll adjust it to match the F✱N date format. Right now, it uses the Danish format “14. juli” rather than “14 Juli” or, for single-digit days, “1. juli“ “04 Juli”.
