My suggestion would be to use a regular folder, drag all your recipe notes into it, and share it with your wife. I would call the folder "your wife’s name". She can name it “Robert” or “Shared with Robert" on her end. You can then drag and drop any note into that shared folder, and it’s automatically shared with her. When you drag it out, you unshare it. She can also create a “✱ Recipes” collection in her system if she likes.
What you need to pay attention to is that if you create a new note within a recipe note (any shared note), it’ll create this new note inside the shared folder, not the default folder. Other than that, this shouldn’t really be a problem with recipe notes.
