Sub Folders

I was trying to create a sub folder under a smart folder and learned this can't be done. What would you recommend doing that would be similar to a sub folder?

In the notes themselves, you can, for example, link as deeply as you like starting from a hub. It is therefore advisable to display the desired content in a hub and from there in depth. The basic search options in Apple Notes are so extensive that I even do without Smart Folders in general(because it ruins the overview in my notes setup).
