I've created a shortcut that allows you to append today's note with a transcribed voice memo. I've assigned it to the action button on my phone so that I can press the button, say something, and have that automatically added as a bullet item to the end of today's note.

Note: This assumes that the current year is listed the end of your note.

Nice! I’ve done something similar but I’ve kept the audio as a recording. I really like the ability in  Notes to save the original recording and also have the transcription available. Sometimes the transcription or voice-to-text isn’t perfect, and sometimes I just like having things in my own voice.
