Good morning! First off: Forever Notes is amazing and has given me control over the 1000 notes I already had in Notes… It's awesome not having to use multiple apps—F✱N is pretty dang genius and indispensable. Thanks for coming up with this framework!
Though it feels kind of trivial, I wanted to offer how I've set up Notes on both my iPhone and Mac to make F✱N feel even more like an app. I was pleased when I found you could do this…
When you use Grid View, you lose the list view on the side and only see your folders, tags, and main note:

It's a small change, but it makes navigation feel more native. When clicking navigation links, you don't have the list view jumping depending on where your notes were sorted.
I've also turned off note grouping (on Mac, Notes > Settings > [ ] Group Notes by Date; on iPhone, Settings > Apps > Notes > Group Notes by Date (toggle off)). This way, when I do view notes in Grid View, I just have my pinned notes (✱ Home) and then all the other notes.
