Can't find "text replacement"

In a nutshell I can't figure out how to create the shortcut to create a big asterisk in notes

There doesn't seem to be any way to type and save an asterisk and two spaces to create a big asterisk and two spaces to create the big "Home'' asterisk

I would really appreciate precise step by step instructions, I say that because lots of times its been my experience that the instructions I get about Forever Notes assume I know how to do things I don't know how to do. In the meantime I'll be doing drills to raise my IQ 🙂

@mettlerr provided you the info you need to do what you ask for. En detail:

Grab your iPhone,
go to Settings >
general >
keyboard >
text replacement >
type "+" for to add a new text replacement >
copy the heavy asterisk (✱) into "phrase" and
put two light asterisk in "Shortcut". >
Save

Every time you afterwards put two light asterisk e.g. in a note, it changes to the heavy asterisk. Thus it is illogical to me, what you're exactly struggling with.

can I send you an email? I've tried and tried to send you screen captures of the problems I had but when I try to paste them, I just get get urls that don't work even if I select them and right click or double click. I just tried pasting them into an email and the screencaptures pasted right in. Hey, I'm speaking with the boss. Didn't realize that!

Casemanx Not sure what you really want to accomplish, but here is a shortcut that will start a shortcut called "✱ Home" .

It will also copy URL into the clipboard.

Not sure whether this is what you want.
