Shortcut that has links?

I was wondering if there is anyway to make a shortcut that would already have links to other notes.

Say you have a note Called class Notes but at the top you want to link back to home and maybe another note Like “overall notes”. I am just making this up. So let’s say you use this not often so you want to make a shortcut making it a template.

so is there anyway to make a Shortcut that will create a note but have links to say two other notes at the top? I have tried making the text >>✱ Home in the shortcut but that did not work

Jmonda It is understandable but the forevernotes documentation on the website states, that Apple Notes do not support automatically creating notes links at present.

My thought about that was, that if one person creates the set full linked, it could may be shared then. Unfortunately, this cannot be done anonymously but would require the sharers to know each other's Apple ID… 🤔

As you've discovered, Shortcuts can't create working links. At best your shortcut can create the link's text, you can then select that text and use Add Link to make the connection to another note.

tvillemw thanks. So this is till a manual option then? Use the shortcut to create the text but then you still have to turn that text into a link manually. I don’t know why but for some reason I thought you could use links in shortcut.

That makes sense. So maybe a better option for my case is to create a folder for templates and then just copy and paste.

Jmonda It was about the journal templates where the links are not automatically included by script, which is why the links between the notes have to be inserted "by hand". I don´t see what kind of templates should compensate that? May we talk different things.
