this is what I needed thanks for sharing I have a great idea in my head unfortunately I am still a newbe with shortcuts creating and maybe you can help me out if interested with my idea.

I think with your shortcut as the base and a shortcut that I already have (not my idea) and we could merge them we create a great CRM shortcut.

I use Messages for this kind of summary. The automated shortcut sends its output to my husband and myself every morning at 6. We look at Messages and get on the same page, so to speak, over our first cup of coffee. If I wanted I could drag and drop the beautiful blue bubble into the Today note.

Sharks_with_freakin_lasers I’m able to download the shortcut, but when I click on the shortcut it gives me an error message that says “shortcut not found”. Am I doing something wrong?

DeborahMcKinley Well, that's the heading of the error message, but there is still text underneath, namely the reference to invalid content as the cause. If you open the shortcut in edit mode, you will see which part of it does not work - which you could then theoretically replace.

I use it now for a few months and love it only the weekly /monthly en yearly is not working with me and I can’t figure it out. Any tips/tricks are appreciated

This is awesome , thanks for sharing. Is there a way I can get the lowest temperature and the highest temperature in for the day?

And is it correct that I have to pick out the note for today every day?

tr4jan I just added Lav (low) and høj (high) to the text.

Maybe you can answer 2 other another question: How come, when I'm running the shortcut, it looks for today's note?

And is it possible to make a automation, so you awesome shortcut, runs automatic, at 5 AM?

Hi,

I have also added my shortcut "Add reminders to today's note" to the very end of your awesome shortcut. 😊 And a automation, so everything runs at 5 in the morning.

Now with a CheckList.

Hi,

Thank you for your shortcut. As the only thing I wished to add to today's note was reminders, your shortcut seemed ideal. I downloaded it, but when I ran it, it stopped and asked me to select a note from what appeared to be a random selection of notes and folders. If I selected a note from the list that was one of my daily notes it worked perfectly and added the correct working reminders. Do you have any idea why it does not automatically select the todays note? I am running the whole forever notes on my iPhone as my iMac is too old to work Notes correctly.

and a screenshot of Shortcuts pausing and asking what notes?

Are the daily notes in a folder within the notes App or no?

IanB I have now managed to get this part of the programme working on my 2014 iMac which now shows me the error message when it stops. I hope that someone can please help me with solving the problem.

Has anyone successfully adapted the Task section for use with Things by Cultured Code? I have the Shortcut working great with Apple Reminders, but am struggling to reproduce the same output with Things and I have recently switched task manager.

FWIW, here is the version I have tried, which creates the "Tasks" header but no task list…

blindside I think the Tasks List action is broken. I am not longer seeing Tasks listed in my shortcuts.
