I've used AN for recipes for many years.
I will copy and paste or screenshot from websites. For YouTube, if the recipe isn't in the text below the video, I'll feed the transcript into an AI program to create a recipe. Sometimes I'll just dictate something into AN and be done with it. Magazine? Just scan it with AN on the iPhone
To me, the key is in tagging and using search.
- No folders: just a tag #recipe on each one solves the filing task.
- I use other tags to search for attributes that may not be in the text of the recipe, such as #asian #quick #vegan #mustcook #excellent [so I can find the ones that turned out great] #airfryer #dinnerparty and so on.
So if I have broccoli and mushrooms and want to make a quick stir-fry, I just seach for #asian #stirfry broccoli mushrooms.
Low effort, high reward.
